OMGZKATYA!

As you may or may not know, i work at Aubainerie. And I've come to realize that the staff bathroom has become my sanctuary :). Anytime i want to get away from it all, I walk into that bathroom close the door (lock it) sit down and take a break.

It may sound weird but it's the only place where i can relax without getting yelled at.

I love the Aubainerie staff bathroom. I don't know what I would do without it. Seriously.

Remember the French oral I told you guys about? Well Monday, I went to compete against the other people who were chosen in the school. It was really nerve wrecking because I had forgot about it all weekend and only Sunday night did i remember that i had to write out an oral. So Monday i was really nervous, not to mention the fact that I had to go pee really badly -_- . Anyways I did my oral and personally I thought i spoke to fast, and that I got all my information mixed up and i repeated the word ' viande ' too many times (I did it on vegetarianism). The only thing that I think i did well was the question they asked me after on my subject. They asked "C'est quoi la difference entre un végétarien et un végétalien?" And I told them:) . I actually didn't know 'végétalien' meant vegan though until that Sunday night! Ha!

Anyways long story short, I missed the announcements of who won, but word around is that I won 3rd place in 'Langue Maternelle' and I'm going to the regionals at Concordia :) YAY ME!

NOTE: I made a mistake, after winning i did go through to the regionals but it was held at my school. and i' didnt get through that one :( so no provincials for me :( , i tried.... but it's okay, im proud of myself for winning one step at least :)

J'aimerais bien vous informer que OUI, je parle Français. Ça paraît pas à cause de toutes mes blogs en Anglais. Bien sûr que ce n'est pas ma launge maternelle mais je suis déjà aller à une école française pour l'école primaire et 2 ans dans l'école secondaire, alors je le parle, je l'écrit et je le comprend. Non, mon français n'est pas parfaite, mais je me débrouille bien. Je vois le monde qui m'écrivent en anglais, ayant de la difficulté et à cause de cela, je voudrais juste vous expliquer cet petit bout d'information.

I would like to inform you that YES, I speak French. You may not be able to tell because of all my blogs being in English. Of course it is not my mother tongue, but I did go to a French elementary school and 2 years in a French high school, so i speak it, i write it and i understand it. No, my French isn't perfect, but I manage. I see people writing to me, having difficulties speaking in English because they don't know this, I just wanted to explain this little piece of information with you.
